Read blood of my Blood synopsis
Kelly Scott in Blood of my Blood tells a tale about a struggling single mother and her family. I enjoyed how he expertly detailed some of the real-life challenges a parent faces when raising children, especially when their circumstances are less than ideal. I was intrigued by how he fleshed out the struggle of having siblings and sharing the same space with them; many people can relate to this situation. This book was mostly narrated from Tommy’s point of view. It was filled with suspense, crime, mystery, and violence and shed light on how childlike innocence can be tainted by the circumstances of life. Khloe's death was painful to read about; I can't imagine what it must feel like for a parent to have to outlive their kid. My heart went out to Jessie as I read about her attempts to understand the facts surrounding her daughter’s death.
READ DIARY OF DOWN AND OUT GANGSTER SYNOPSIS
Kelly Scott's "Diary of a down and out Gangster" is a raw and unfiltered narrative that chronicles his life's journey through chaos, survival, love, and addiction. The book details his impulsive decisions, near-death experiences, and encounters with jail and self-destruction. Despite a past filled with substance abuse, scams, and confrontations, Scott finds purpose in writing, finishing his first novel, "Blood of my Blood," and striving to right his wrongs by seeking forgiveness and living more honestly. His life is marked by wild escapades, including courtroom sexual encounters, elaborate cons, and revenge missions, as well as legal issues and addiction. Scott's shift from his long-held d.&o.G. identity to a more positive path and reckoning with the man he used to be is a central theme of the book.
